ATTENTION: DEBIT CARD CUSTOMERS
First Federal of Bucks County would like to alert you to a telephone "Phishing" scam. Please be advised that a fraudulent phishing phone call is circulating alerting First Federal of Bucks County debit card customers that their cards have been deactivated and to proceed with reactivating their card using the instructions given during the recorded message. First Federal of Bucks County would never perform such a phone call and ask our customers for such sensitive information.
If you receive such a phone call hang up and do not respond to the call. We value your privacy and would never solicit our customers in this manner.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
First Federal would like to alert you concerning a new telephone phishing scam that has been circulating. Debit card customers are being targeted by receiving a fraudulent telephone call from an imposter MasterCard Representative. The imposter MasterCard Representative will announce that they are from the Security and Fraud Department of MasterCard. They will mention that your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern and continue to ask you questions concerning fictitious transactions. Then, inform you that you will be issued a new card and to please read over the phone the security numbers on the back of your card. The last three digits of your card security number is what the fraudster is after to obtain the remaining information to steal your card identity.
Please be advised that MasterCard or First Federal of Bucks County would never call our customers and ask such questions. Please do not respond to these types of phone calls and hang up. We value your privacy and card security and would never contact our customers in this manner.
